Someone knows the troubleshooting procedure for a faulty step....
motor was making noise with the step going in and out replaced motor and gearbox,now it works backwards open the door step goes in close the door step comes out I need help please

I don't have an answer to your question but if you do a Google search of "Kwikee steps go in when door is opened" you'll see on the IRV2.com and the rv.net forums that other people have had the same problem and their suggestions on what to try to fix it.
