I'm new to the group and just got my 2018 UnityCB last month! This is a minor issue, but I would like to know if anyone has found a way to modify the little table that comes with the van for use outside. Why buy a new rickety outside table when you can use the one you have?

You mean the optional removable Front Table that sits between the front captain chairs?
I guess you would either need a heavy circular base, like the kind you find on small restaurant tables. You may find just those bases at restaurant supply stores. Otherwise you could use something like two nesting 2x4's to form an X that is wide enough to keep it stable. Just a couple of random thoughts there :D
I would look for a heavy duty, cast iron base like one that comes with a large, outside umbrella..... Then have the hole enlarged to match the size of the insert for the tube stand in the Unity. Use the same tube base from inside and all you have to do is store the cast iron base. Or, you could order another floor base plate (the same as the one in the Umity, and attach it to the portable base)
