Title: RTB Set up for Lounging
Post by: Steven S on January 29, 2021, 08:36:13 am
Does anyone have any suggestions for using the rear twin beds as a lounge area - ie., set up as couches?  It looks like the overhead cabinets would keep someone from being able to sit comfortably on the beds.  We are a few weeks away from ordering and the debate is between the Wonder RL, Wonder RTB, and the WInnebago Ekko 24c.  I really want the rear garage for ebikes - my wife really wants the lounge.  Hmmmmm....

You lounge by laying on top of the bed and leaning against the back. Very comfortable. As far as your choice, I would only consider the LTV's if you want the best quality. My WonderRTB is the third small RV I've owned in 14 years. I absolutely love the design. Very liveable. But then so is the RL. There's tradeoff's with either design but not enough to matter in my opinion. If you need the garage, go with the Wonder as you will later regret you didn't. If you don't need the space, and prefer the RL, go with that. But whatever you do, go with LTV or you will find yourself later wishing you had did.

We had ordered the RL but then changed to the RTB. We just decided that pulling down a bed and putting it back was not for us. We also wanted the Mercedes frame so the Wonder was not an option. As for the garage we have a 1 Up bike rack for 2 E-Bikes and it works perfect. Easy to carry and store. Go with your gut feeling and you will have 9 to 12 months after you place your order to make the final decision. Order one and then you can still change your mind while waiting as we did.
