Post by: Keith Hawkins on May 02, 2021, 01:53:37 pm

When we can, we travel for about 6 months, during that time we may be parked for up to 2 nights where we cannot use the roof antenna.  It is not a problem unless you must park under trees.
Look into DishPlaymate or similar to use for portable antenna.

We have the King Controls Tailgater as a pseudo-portable dish.

It can receive DirecTV and Dish, you just change some switches.

We use the King Controls quick-connect roof mount, so mostly ours is on the roof (so it takes up no space in the storage bays).  The quick connect mount lets you detach it and put it on a table, etc., if there are trees blocking signal on the roof, as long as you have a long-enough cable.
