Has anyone added Sumo Springs to their Unity? If so, how do you feel about it?
Thanks Dave
I used them front and rear.
The rear ones provided a noticeable improvement in ride quality and handling (less roll, less 18-wheeler push). I highly recommend them.
The front ones IMO, degraded the ride and driving experience. As they are always in contact with the chassis, all road surface changes are feedback to the steering wheel. Made the front ride stiffer (more truck like) and increased (not in a good way) the steering wheel to road feedback. I took the front ones off after just a week.
Good Info thank you. Question what color (Compression Value) did you use?
I have both front and rear
front 106-40
rear 338-47
they work great, best money spent on upgrades.
I do not have the same experience as mentioned above.
Here is what I used:
Rear: SumoSprings SSR-338-47 SumoSprings Solo Rear Bump Stop Upgrade Kit (https://amzn.to/428JD8v) They also make a SSR-338-54 which is stiffer which depending on your floorplan may be better, but I've been very happy with the 47's
Front (that I later removed) SumoSprings SSF-106-40 Solo Front Bump Stop Upgrade Kit (https://amzn.to/3JcdXqj) There are the blue ones, that for me diminished the drive feel, YMMV
