Does anyone have any recommendations for a good blind spot system for a 2019 Unity ??
I would be curious if such a system exists as well, I am in a 2016 Unity. I finally realized that the only way to avoid the side blind spots on both sides was to be sure to use the lower fisheye rear view side mirrors before considering a lane change. They can be adjusted to see just about all of the lane beside you on either side, then continue to monitor the space as I move over. I have wondered if an automatic warning system could work but am just as concerned it would sometimes miss. The mirrors seem to be the most trustworthy. Then of course one of the most reliable indicators are the folks that like to honk and gesture showing their displeasure.

It uses the 10" MBUX screen. It includes mirror head replacements that have a camera in each. When you trip your turn signal, the camera output for that side is displayed on MBUX. It doesn't have sensors that sound a warning, but if you check the MBUX screen, you'll see anything in that blindspot. Installation is fairly complex since it requires replacing the mirror heads and running harnesses from the mirrors into MBUX and adding a control board. Mine came with this setup, so IDK what it would cost to install.
