Title: Bug Screens
Post by: BCMobil on February 22, 2024, 07:45:16 pm
Greetings-
Although we've had nothing but rain lately, what are the recommendations for "bug screens" for a 2022 Unity TB?  Are they recommended or are there "screens" in place to prevent little critters for entering the coach?

Thanks,
B

I think I saw a bug screen on YouTube that had a magnet down the middle so every time you walked out it literally closed itself behind you I would do some sort of Google search for RV magnetic screens and see what you come up with and also look on YouTube

Thanks, Todd - I should have been more specific...  doors and windows on the Unity TB are already screened...  I was referring to the vents (heater, frig, etc.)

Hi,
The only screens we got advised by other LTVers to buy were the little round ones for the furnace vents. We installed, "2 Pieces Flying Insect Screen RV Furnace Vent Cover RV Water Heater Vent Cover 2.8 Inches Stainless Steel Mesh with Installation Tool and Silicone Rub," we ordered them from Amazon. They were about 5 seconds to install.

I use the same ones .... But they are really just for mud dabbers and the like.  Small bugs will get right through, which is a good thing since you do not want to "block" those appliance vents or bad things will happen !
