Title: 2017 unity with bubbles in the paint after winter storage
Post by: Rnswerd@telus.net on February 08, 2026, 04:00:28 pm
Hi everyone I’m new to the group. My wife and I purchased our 2017 unity last September.  The paint was in excellent condition and after storing the unit in our drive way with a Adco cover that was used every winter from new we have now discovered many little bubbles all over the paint.  The bubbles are on the fiberglass body and the metal hood.  Any ideas what would cause this ?

Here are some pictures.

Thanks for your help and info.
Rob.

Well, Ltv does nor recommend using covers, they know what they can do to their paint.

My Ltv is 6 years old, never used any covers, 80% of the time parked in the open.  No bubbles!

Ouch, that stinks!  I’d take it to a paint shop ASAP to see what’s going on.  Are you sure it is original paint?  I’ve heard of this happening with poor quality re-paints, but not with original paint jobs.
