Topic: Outside storage cable replacement (Read 1377 times) previous topic - next topic

Need info on outside storage cable replacement. We have just purchased a 2016 Serenity. The outside storage cabinet doors are held up by cables. They do not appear to be sturdy enough. Has anyone ever replaced the cables and what did you replace them with?

Hi Art,
I'm having the same issue with ours.  The dealer replaced them once with cable then used ring style terminal connectors.  They failed on the first use - the crimp of the connector to the cable isn't strong enough to hold up the large door no matter how hard we force it.  I'm curious if others have resolved this seemingly simple issue?
