Fuel economy reduction from towing a vehicle behind LTV

Can anyone offer information on their reduced fuel economy from towing a vehicle?
I have a 2014 Unity MB, and have a 2002 Jeep soft top Wrangler that I might tow.

Don’t know about your set up, I have a 2019 WonderFtb and have towed a 2007 Honda Fit for the last 11, 000 miles and have averaged 15.5 mpg.  The couple of times without toad I was seeing 17-18 mpg.

Thank you Harry.  What is weight of your towed/toad vehicle approximately?

The 2014 Unity MB, has no spare cavity under due to location of  LP tank.  I have a RoadMaster spare tire carrier which has its own receiver. Tow capacity for Unity is 5000 lbs.  My Wrangler weights 3,400 lbs dry, and I have a cargo box that will fit in the back of the Jeep, about 300 lbs.  If I do not tow the Jeep, I put the cargo box on the Unity behind the spare tire carrier.

Harry,
I get 16 + MPG if on reasonable non hilly, non mountainous terrain.  So, your drop in fuel economy is very reasonable.
