2005 Free Spirit

I have a 2005 Free Spirit that I would like to update the working black and white rear camera and monitor system to a color system. Has anyone done this? Did you have to start over with the wiring or were you able to use the existing? I realize this is an older model than most of the posts refer to...was just hoping for a little insight.
