Bike rack cover

We have a 2020 Wonder and want to haul our ebikes. The best rack, it seems, is the Hollywood RV Rider. Hollywood does not recommend using a bike cover on any of their racks. Has anyone used this bike rack with a cover? Any ill effects?

We own a Hollywood rack. Our cover (made by Pro Bike Tool) kept coming loose on one of our trips because I think I kept putting it on wrong.... so I took it off. We were in Utah and at one campsite, we found that dust and sand had gotten into the small control unit to turn on the power. I spent several hours online and finally found a solution that required popping the control unit apart to clean it. After that, I decided to look for a better solution and I believe it is the Formosa e-bike cover from Amazon. If you read the reviews, one person did an in-depth review and recommended a cargo net to go with the cover to make sure it stays in place. I haven't bought it yet - waiting for our next long trip.
