Wonder shower head drip

After the seond year of ownership of our 2023 FTB Wonder, the shower head would drip after use - even with the water pump off. Recently when we had the RV in for another small issue, the technician asked if we wanted to fix it. The dealer had told me that "all of them drip" and the solution was to release the pressure in the water line by turning on the sink faucet. The tech said "bulls***" and offered to fix it. Since our extended warranty covered the fix, we said OK. The valve is made by Grohe. The technician installed the valve but there is a plastic part that inserts into the center of the valve and the Grohe instructions say to leave that plastic part out after winterization and install back in during the dewinterization process. There is nothing in the Wonder winterization instructions that cover this. This would require you to remove the shower handle and cover plate to get access. Has anyone else experienced this?

Our 2016 Unity had an issue not as much with drip but the  temp would be off when you released the value (that being when your were taking a Navy shower).  I put in some values from Amazon that took care of our problem and could be effective in dealing with the drip: Shower Head Water Shut Off Valve - Pair Pack - Large Button - Water Flow regulator for Shower Hose or Bidet Sprayer - Bathroom & Kitchen water valve (Polished Chrome)  Shower Head Water Shut Off Valve - Pair Pack - Large Button - Water Flow...
