GFCI - Ground fault outlet dead

One of our GFCI circuits failed today. It is the one that supplies the entertainment center, the counter above the entertainment center and the outside outlet. We have GFCI breakers and when I reset the breaker it goes off again in about 10 seconds. We’ve unplugged everything from all the outlets and it still fails. We can’t locate where to unplug the entertainment center. The cords are concealed in the console, so if the defect is there, we can’t eliminate it.

I suppose I could have a dead insect inside one of the outlet boxes, or the TV or DVD wiring insulation is bad, or I could have a defective breaker.

Solved. Boy was that stupid. The breaker on the power pole was off and i was running on inverter. The inverter doesn’t power those outlets. Solution: turn off the inverter. Reset the breaker.
