Topic: sewer hose housing comes loose (Read 1039 times) previous topic - next topic

Our 2020 Unity CB had the sewer hose housing pipe (4"diameter plastic sewer pipe) come loose and began dragging on the ground after 5K miles.  I can't see where it was ever properly secured on the closed end near the drive shaft.  It only had two screws at the door end of the tube holding it up.

Does anyone have any perspective on this "phenomena" occurring.  I sure wasn't impressed that there is no apparent mechanical securing to the far end of the pipe storing the flex hose.  This isn't the kind of thing I was expecting with a Leisure travel van.

Is there supposed to be some sort of pipe clamp arrangement on the far end of the tube to prevent the very problem we encountered?
