We are looking at two used Unitys. The 2020 says their chassis is an older 2019 chassis. The 2019 says it is the newer chassis. When did they change the chassis? Thanks! Susie

I believe the 2020 LTV lineup used the 2019 Mercedes Benz Chassis which is considered the upgraded chassis.  If you have the 10.5 inch screen, you should have the later chassis.  My understanding.

Thanks Kim, do you know about the power and heated seats as indicator of the newer chassis.?

Visually, the two biggest signals of which generation (pre-2019 or 2019+) chassis are:
1. shape of headlights.
2. the large 10.25" MBUX display in the center console in 2019+.
(Of course there are many differences in the engineering and features)
On the 2018 (and older} chassis, headlight housing is larger Login • Instagram

I don't know if the heated/power seats are an indication of anything. Those might of been optional in 2018.


 

According to a salesman at Gerzenys, the newer chassis costs $8750 more than he earlier chassis with all of the updates.  Included in those are heated /power seats.  Not sure if earlier versions have those available.
