Hi all,
I have about 7600 miles on my unity and the oil level indicator has been slowly creeping down during those miles. Now it is near the min mark but still above it. Is this the sign of an oil leak or normal?

Sounds abnormal. Since it is still under warranty, I'd contact a Mercedes Sprinter service center and have them look at it. Could be a faulty oil level sensor, an oil leak, or you're burning it. All of those are bad news. BTW, not all Mercedes dealers will service Sprinters. So you need to find one in your area.

Thanks, I'll see if we can get in. In the meanwhile, I picked up a quart of oil from my local MB dealer (who does not service Sprinters).

I have a 2021 Unity.  I add a quart of oil to get to the 20,000 mile check up.  Make sure the oil is from MB or meets its specifications.  I carry 2 quarts just in case.  Also the Spinter needs to run for at least 20-30 minutes to get a proper reading. 

@Deb A : As a side note - If your Unity is built on a 2022 Sprinter chassis (6 cylinder version) it is possible (and easy) to add an old-fashioned dipstick.

Note: 2023 4-cylinder engines do not have dipstick tubes.

Thanks all! I went to Mercedes and got a quart of oil just in case before our trip. We drove about 2000 miles and the oil level did not drop at all. Looks like I will be set until my oil change is needed.
